Molly qualified as a solicitor in 1978 initially specialising in Family and Personal Injury work. She founded Twomlows in 1984 opening the firm’s first office in Caldicot. She continues to specialise in Family work to which she brings over 35 years experience but also enjoys private client work in Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Chris is a partner in the firm specialising in Commercial and Business Advice and Wills and Probate. He qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and after spells working in Newport and London, he joined Twomlows in 1987, becoming a partner in 1988. Although the majority of Chris’ time is spent advising on commercial matters he continues to carry out significant work within the probate and wills department and assists in a supervisory capacity in relation to all property related matters.
Nia qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and since 2002 has specialised in conveyancing and property matters generally. She also advises on wills, consumer matters and powers of attorney. Nia joined Twomlows in October 2009 having worked locally since 2002. Nia served as a member of the Consumer Council for Water Wales Committee between 2009 and 2011 and was more recently appointed as a member of Glas Cymru, the company which owns Dwr Cymru Welsh Water. Nia is a fluent Welsh speaker .
Hannah is a private client solicitor who joined the firm Atkinsons in 2014. She lives in the local area and completed her legal studies at Cardiff University. Hannah is able to assist with all aspects of family law, divorce, separation, finances, and children issues such as Child Arrangement Orders, Specific Issue applications and Special Guardianship applications. Alternatively if you just need some general advice on a family law matter she would be pleased to help. She also prepares Change of Name deeds, Wills and Powers of Attorney helping you to plan effectively for the future.
Outside work, Hannah is a keen horse rider, and enjoys socialising with family and friends at the weekend.
Kath is a conveyancing executive who started her career as a legal secretary. She has been a mainstay of our residential conveyancing team in Monmouth for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to residential conveyancing transactions.
Sue is a conveyancing executive and having worked in the legal profession for many years, her knowledge of conveyancing is extensive. Sue has worked in and around the local area for many years and is well acquainted with all the local property professionals and has detailed local knowledge. Sue is efficient, personable and takes great pride in her work. Sue will go the extra mile to ensure the needs of her clients are met.
Kiran is our newest professional recruit; with a law degree and having successfully completed the Legal Practice Course she is now on the final vocational stage of training to be a solicitor. Cheerful and proactive she quickly develops good relationships with clients she assists.
Our Crime Team
Partner in charge of the Criminal Department. Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1981. Following a spell working in prosecuting he established Andrew Twomlow & Co as a specialist defence firm which amalgamated with Twomlows in 1987. Andrew has vast experience defending the most serious charges including murder, rape, historic sexual offences, conspiracy and fraud. He is also a Higher Rights (Crime) Advocate.
D. Huw Williams
Huw qualified as a solicitor in 1991, and has specialised in crime, particularly youth work since 1994. Formerly partner in charge of criminal work with Watkins and Gunn, Pontypool Huw joined us in 2005.
Richard practiced in Chepstow in private practice for many years before branching out, joining us part time as a crime specialist.
Eleanor is a solicitor who qualified in June 2009 and since that time has worked in our crime team, initially in the Crown Court section but then in police stations and Magistrates Courts. More recently she has undertaken work in the Crown Court as a Higher Rights (Crime) Advocate. Eleanor also enjoys Personal Injury work.
