Molly Twomlow

Molly qualified as a solicitor in 1978 initially specialising in Family and Personal Injury work. She founded Twomlows in 1984 opening the firm’s first office in Caldicot. She continues to specialise in Family work to which she brings over 35 years experience but also enjoys private client work in Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.


Andrew Twomlow

Partner in charge of the Criminal Department. Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1981. Following a spell working in prosecuting he established Andrew Twomlow & Co as a specialist defence firm which amalgamated with Twomlows in 1987. Andrew has vast experience defending the most serious charges including murder, rape, historic sexual offences, conspiracy and fraud. He is also a Higher Rights (Crime) Advocate.


Chris Prigg

Chris is a partner in the firm specialising in Commercial and Business Advice and Wills and Probate. He qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and after spells working in Newport and London, he joined Twomlows in 1987, becoming a partner in 1988. Although the majority of Chris’ time is spent advising on commercial matters he continues to carry out significant work within the probate and wills department and assists in a supervisory capacity in relation to all property related matters


Richard Thomas

Solicitor Qualified 1988
Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1987 having attended the College of Law at Guildford. Over the past 30 years or so he has been connected with private practices within the counties of Monmouth, Hereford and Gloucester. Having dealt with all aspects of general practice Richard has focussed on private client matters for well over half of his career, specialising in wills; tax planning and asset protection; probate and trust administration and elderly client matters involving powers of attorney and court of protection applications. Having been awarded the Diploma in Trusts and Estates by STEP, Richard is now a registered Trusts and Estates Practitioner.


D. Huw Williams

Huw qualified as a solicitor in 1991, and has specialised in crime, particularly youth work since 1994. Formerly partner in charge of criminal work with Watkins and Gunn, Pontypool Huw joined us in 2005.

Eleanor Twomlow

Eleanor is a solicitor who qualified in June 2009 and since that time has worked in our crime team, initially in the Crown Court section but then in police stations and Magistrates Courts. More recently she has undertaken work in the Crown Court as a Higher Rights (Crime) Advocate. Eleanor also enjoys Personal Injury work.


Victoria Codling

Solicitor Qualified 2002
Vicky undertakes all types residential conveyancing, sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re mortgages. She also has experience in residential development and commercial conveyancing. She is proficient in drafting and dealing with more complex matters which may arise in the course of residential conveyancing, such as Deeds of Easement, Option Agreements and/or Conditional Contracts and matters relating to planning agreements with the Local Authority.


Penny Brandram-Jones

Solicitor Qualified 2014

Penny qualified as a solicitor having studied as a mature student but has worked in the legal profession for the last 30 years. She started out as a secretary and has vast experience of all types of residential conveyancing. She also enjoys matrimonial work.


Jennifer Chudleigh

Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) Qualified 1998
Jennifer has over twenty years’ experience working as a family lawyer. First in Wiltshire and then on to London where she also practiced in Children Act Public Law. She moved to Wales in 2001 continuing to represent clients in a wide range of family law matters. She brings a sympathetic but objective, patient and thorough approach to their cases.


Kath Watkins

Kath is a conveyancing executive who started her career as a legal secretary. She has been a mainstay of our residential conveyancing team in Monmouth for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge to residential conveyancing transactions.


Sue Powell

Sue is a conveyancing executive and having worked in the legal profession for many years, her knowledge of conveyancing is extensive. Sue has worked in and around the local area for many years and is well acquainted with all the local property professionals and has detailed local knowledge. Sue is efficient, personable and takes great pride in her work. Sue will go the extra mile to ensure the needs of her clients are met.


Lucy Teasdale

Lucy graduated from St Andrews University in 2003 with a biology degree, and since graduating has worked in commercial and legal roles. Prior to joining Twomlows in August 2018 Lucy worked as a legal assistant (in-house) for United Health Group, Estee Lauder and enModus. She completed the GDL at Cardiff University in June 2017 and is due to finish the LPC and LLM in Professional Legal Practice at The University of Law, Bristol campus, in July 2019. When not working and studying Lucy enjoys outdoor pursuits.


Jenna Roche

Jenna works within the criminal crown court department having obtained paralegal qualifications in in 2013 and is in the final stages of obtaining legal executive status through Cilex Law School having qualified at higher level in criminal law and litigation in 2016. Jenna has extensive experience assisting clients and instructing barristers in relation to a wide range of serious criminal matters including murder, robbery, large scale fraud, rape and child sex offences. Jenna has also obtained a higher level qualification in Wills and the Administration of Estates.
